Game Legal announces the launch of its Legal Intern Program (LIP) for final year law students and recent law school graduates.
This innovative and flexible internship is offered on virtual and casual basis to law students and new lawyers all over Australia, with a focus on developing the next generation of sports, esports, & pop culture lawyers.
The LIP offers young lawyers (and older lawyers young in their career in the law):
- Experience across:
esports legal matters
legal issues in pop culture - Gaming, Media, Tech, Internet, Brands & IP, Entertainment, TV, Music, Film, Art, & Fashion, as well as
corporate and commercial law relating to business and start-ups
- Payment for work completed
- Contribution to live work types and law firm business development, including:
Template document drafting
Journal article drafting (with authorship attributed)
- Value focused feedback on performance and areas of continual improvement
- Mentoring from Mat Jessep, via one-on-one and regular group chats.
